Upcoming Field Trips: March 25th and 30th

After our March Break (next week, 15th through 19th), we are going on a couple of field trips:
  1. SUGARBUSH MAPLE SYRUP FESTIVAL - March 25th, $2 per MicroSkills LINC participant. We will be going as a school in two yellow schoolbuses. The destination is Bruce's Mills Conservation Area, where you can learn about how maple syrup is made, visit a country bake sale, and even tuck in a pancake breakfast ($2.50, pre-ordered). Stay tuned for more details!
  2. ROYAL ONTARIO MUSEUM - March 30th. We are very privileged to be able to visit the ROM after a year's wait! Unfortunately, the Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibition is gone, but it's still worth the visit as regular-priced tickets are $22 each. It's still not too late for the Fakes & Forgeries special exhibit. And good ole Mummy Djed (my favourite!) is unlikely to go on leave when we visit.

So plan ahead! Let's look forward to a great time in the Sugarbush and at the ROM!
