Our first field trip for the summer is combined with Level 6 - 7, and we're headed to the most popular, scenic, and well-stocked public library in town, the Toronto Reference Library. Among the attractions there are its unique ESL section, the OED, musical scores, rare artifacts, used books for sale, newspaper section, and newly renovated sections.

Please meet on the 4th floor at 10:20 a.m. as we will be starting the tour from the ESL section at 10:30 a.m. If you are coming from Don Mills Station, you should be on your way by 9:30, transferring via Sheppard Yonge and getting off at Bloor Station. From there it's a short walk back up north on Yonge St., and the library is on your right (see map below).

A librarian is supposed to give us a tour and an introduction. After the time at the library, you may go on an extended walk through historic, upscale Yorkville to the University of Toronto. Or you may wish to join those going for lunch. Come, learn, and enjoy!
