Try the following exercises as we close out our week on the War:
Those of you who are preparing for your Citizenship Test will appreciate this exercise in reading: “A Growing Economy” in Discover Canada.
Speaking or Writing: Record your thoughts on this picture.
Reading, Listening, and Singing: First, read the words to this famous patriotic British song still sung at annual celebrations like the Last Night at the Proms, checking for pronunciation and vocabulary, and then listen to the Youtube video below. After watching a couple of times, try singing along the chorus.
