Field Trip to Tasty Thursday, July 14

Fresh WednesdaysDue to a misprint in some of the publicity materials, our field trip on Thursday is now confirmed as follows:

We'll be heading downtown for a walking tour of Toronto's PATH Underground City and Tasty Thursday instead of attending the marketing workshop in North York.

Come with good walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, camera, and about $10 for food.

Let's meet at 10:15 a.m. on the Southbound Platform of Sheppard Yonge Station and leave about 10:30 a.m. for Dundas Station.

We'll be doing it in reverse on Thursday, July 14, at North York Civic Centre: first the brain work, then the brain food!

From 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., we'll be attending Enterprise Toronto's free workshop titled "The Power of Email and Social Media" in the Centre's Committee Room 3. Please register online at the municipal agency's main site.

At 12 noon, a Tasty Thursday event is scheduled in Mel Lastman Square, in front of North York Civic Centre, according to The Whole Note magazine. However, the City of Toronto website seems to list the venue as Nathan Phillips Square. If so, the field trip may be repackaged as a walking tour of Canada's financial heart, Bay Street, and longest road, Yonge Street, followed by a bite at its multicultural microcosm, Tasty Thursday.

Tasty Concerts Noon - 2:00 pm

Details of both events on Thursday to be confirmed: please check on Thursday morning between 8 and 9 a.m.
